18.STDX is one of our biggest canoes, so there is plenty of room to pack for both shorter and longer adventures on the water. The extra width provides more stability, so you can feel a little safer on the water. However, the wide bottom means that the canoe is best on flat water, as waves risk tipping it.

Like all other OSAGIAN canoes, the canoe is handmade of aluminium, and every detail has been taken into account. The bottom of the canoe is fully welded and it is assembled with almost 500 rivets. This means that you get one of the market's most durable and robust canoes that can last for many, many years – completely without maintenance.

3 things you need to know about 18.STDX:

One of our largest models. 18.STDX is with its 18 feet one of our largest canoes. This means that there is plenty of room for both family and cargo – also for longer trips, where you, for example, spend the night along the way.

Extra width for greater stability. The model is made with extra width, so it lies even more stable in the water.

Best on flat water. The extra width makes the canoe stable, but on the other hand it is not as good in waves due to the wide, flat bottom. Therefore, we always recommend that you use the wider models on flat, still water.
